It's about time....

we started blogging! I always refused to blog when I was single because I thought it was only for married people who had interesting things to share....well, I'm still not sure we have too many interesting things going on, but we are married so I decided it was finally time to jump on the blogging bandwagon.

Jake and I are both tax accountants (hence, the lack of interesting). We met at our place of work, PricewaterhouseCoopers, in January of 2009. I had been there about a year, and Jake was just starting his internship. I was assigned to be Jake's 'peer mentor.' This was to involve taking him out to lunch a few times, showing him around the office, and doing my best to make sure he had a good experience there. What can I say, I took my responsibilities very seriously :).

Long story short, we became good friends over the next several months, started dating in July, and in April of this year he asked me to marry him (I said yes). On June 10, 2010 I got to marry the man of my dreams in the Salt Lake City Temple. We've been married almost 4 whole months now, and life has never been better! We are so blessed to both have jobs, our health, and good friends and family.
